What is the best time to do the Spiti Valley Circuit?
The best time for Spiti Valley is from May to October when the roads are clear of snow. June to September offers pleasant weather with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C during the day. Winters (November to April) are extremely cold with temperatures dropping to -20°C and many routes closed due to snow.
Is this trip suitable for first-time mountain travelers?
While no prior mountain experience is required, the Spiti Circuit involves long drives on challenging roads and high altitudes.
